    On Dec. 9 Lower Yellowstone Lodge #90 hosted the annual "Gifts from the Heart" program in Sidney. Local residents came to the Lodge and were given bags of food and were able to select toys and Christmas gifts for their children from the collections provided by local charities. Tables were set up for boys and girls and by ages. Five or six families were allowed to enter at a time and were accompanied by a "Santa Shopper" to help them find appropriate gifts.     New precinct boundaries have been established for Richland County after the adoption of the 2023 Legislative Districting Plan.     On Wednesday, Aug. 30, a brand-new mural was completed on the north exterior wall of Pizza House, Sidney. Local artist, Sam Rush, Multiple Impressions, began painting the mural Monday, Aug. 21.     Sidney’s own Ace Hardware opened on May 22. It was a soft opening, but means the store was open in time for the start of the growing season.
