Hamburgers In The Park To Benefit Relay For Life

Two Fairview Relay for Life teams, the Sharpshooters and the Love Birds, have joined forces this year to host the popular annual summertime event Hamburgers in the Park. Hamburgers in the Park will run every Friday night at Sharbono Park, Fairview, starting on June 15 and culminating on July 20, in conjunction with the Old Timers’ Festival.

People can purchase hamburgers or hotdogs, with chips and a drink between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. (MDT). All proceeds will go to the MonDak Relay for Life, which in turn gives the money to the American Cancer Society.

Team member Kim Syth urges people to participate in the Hamburgers in the Park weekly event. “The Svarre pool is right there in Sharbono Park, so come eat and let the kids swim,” she says. “This is a good way for families and friends to get together and visit, and at the same time help this community effort.”

Hamburgers in the Park will run from 5-7 each Friday from June 15 until July 20 at Sharbono Park in Fairview. Hamburger, chips, and a drink cost $6; hotdog, chips, and a drink cost $5.
