Stockman Bank Challenges Local Community to Help Raise Funds for Savage Cemetery

In the summer of 2011, a massive storm destroyed the beautiful, mature trees in the Savage cemetery so the Savage Inc & Cemetery boards are in the process of raising money to buy and plant new trees. The goal needed to fund this project is $30,000, so Stockman Bank is presenting the local community/area with a “challenge” to help get this project funded.

The Savage Inc, Cemetery board and Stockman Bank remain committed to making our community a better place for all the families who hold or who have held Savage a dear place in their hearts.

Stockman Bank has agreed to contribute up to $10,000 if the challenge is met. The challenge consists of every $1.00 raised by the community; Stockman Bank will match it with $1.00, up to a maximum donation of $10,000. If Stockman Bank’s challenge is fully met, the total amount raised between Stockman and the community will be $20,000 and they will be over half way of meeting their goal. The goal is to have this project completed by Memorial Day.

If you or your family would like to donate money towards the project please contact or mail your donation to Dana Jonsson at Stockman Bank 101 S Central Ave Sidney, MT 59270 406-433-8600. Please make your tax deductible check to Savage Inc.
