Sidney Livestock Market Center Continues with Improvements to Facility

September 1st, 2012 Prewitt & Company purchased Yellowstone Livestock in Sidney, MT. The Livestock Facility has been renamed Sidney Livestock Market Center, with Tim Larson taking over as manager. The staff has been working hard to create a competitive market place for this area’s livestock. Many improvements are being made in the yards, old pens have been torn down and replaced with new fencing, water tanks, feeders and alleyways. The improved yards will make handling the cattle much easier, less stressful on livestock and most importantly much safer for the workers and animals. The project has been in the works all summer and is nearing completion just in time for the Fall Run.

Sidney Livestock Market Center would like to invite everyone to stop by on Wednesday, September 18th for their Customer Appreciation Barbecue at noon. Enjoy a delicious lunch of smoked brisket, salads and desserts, then check out all the improvements currently underway. Come early for the All Class Cattle Sale and yearling special, set to start at 9 am, then stay for the Fall Sheep sale at 3 pm following the cattle sale.
