Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site, a unit of the National Park system, is actively engaged in creating opportunities for people to discover their own personal connections to public lands in the northern plains and throughout the country. As the National Park Service commences its second century of service in 2016, our approach, bringing the park to the people, is designed to inspire public engagement in and advocacy and support for an American institution with its roots in the MonDak area. Efforts such as this partnership with the MonDak Heritage Center help us connect with and create our next generation of park visitors, supporters, and advocates.

Additional information about these and other events at Fort Union Trading Post NHS, including our annual June Rendezvous, can be found on our web site, http://www.nps.gov/fous/planyourvisit/calendar.htm. You may also call the park’s visitor center at 701-572-9083.
