Play for a Good Cause and Several Chances to Win at the 23rd Annual Golf Scramble

The Foundation for Community Care is excited to announce that Gem City Motors has donated a new 2016 Chevy Silverado valued at over $47,000 as the prize for anyone who gets a hole-in-one on the 9th hole during the 23rd Annual Golf Scramble. Gem City was happy to sponsor the prize for the fundraising event. The golf scramble will be held Saturday, August 27th at the Sidney Country Club. The shotgun start is at 9:00am and golfers are encouraged to play for a good cause.

Another hole-in-one prize is the generous donation of $10,000 cash sponsored by A2Z Construction. In fact, there is prize potential at every hole, as well as on the putting green where a mini-golf putt challenge will be set up. Located at one of the holes will be an air cannon that golfers can use for a donation, to give their ball some extra distance.

"The prizes are a way to get people excited about the tournament and things like the air cannon and mini golf keep it fun," said Community Engagement Coordinator Heather Cotter.

Grand prize winners will get a trip to Las Vegas and shopping spree at Top Golf. Other team prizes include golf gadget essential kits and gift cards to the Pop-up Pro-Shop which will be located on site the day of the tournament.

Registration is $150.00 per person, with six people to a team. Both complete teams and individuals are invited to register online at http://www.foundationforcommunitycare.org, on the Foundation for Community Care's Facebook page, or by stopping in at 221 2nd St. NW in Sidney.
