Caregivers Encouraged To Attend Workshop

Has caring for a loved one become stressful for you? Caregiving is rewarding, but let’s face it: caregiving is not easy—physically, emotionally and financially.

“Powerful Tools for Caregivers” is a class designed to provide you, the family caregiver, with the skills you need to take care of yourself.

Classes will be held online on Wednesdays for six weeks from 1:30-3:30 p.m. CT starting Jan. 12-Feb. 16, 2022.

How will the “tools” benefit you? This series will help you in the following ways:

• Reduce stress

• Improve self-confidence

• Balance your life

• Better communicate your feelings

• Increase ability to make tough decisions

• Learn to locate helpful resources

Here is what a past participant has said about this workshop:

“After taking this class, I am a more confident caregiver! Having tools to resolve problems is a definite advantage in becoming a better caregiver and a happier, wiser, healthier me.”

When you take care of yourself, everyone benefits.

Pre-registration is requested by Monday, Jan.10. To register go to: ndc3.org and find the class listed under “select class.” Once you are registered a link for the zoom meetings will be sent to you.
