Sidney Health Center Welcomes New Pelvic Health Physical Therapist Steinbeisser, DPT

Sidney – Sidney Health Center is excited to announce the newest addition to its Rehabilitation Therapy team. Lacey Steinbeisser, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and specialist in pelvic health, recently joined the team to provide expanded services to people living in the MonDak region. As a Sidney native, Lacey is thrilled to work alongside Bess Reid, DPT, in enhancing pelvic health services in her hometown.

Pelvic health physical therapy (PHPT) focuses on helping with concerns related to the lower back, pelvis, and hips, especially the pelvic floor. Therapists like Lacey and Bess receive special training to address various pelvic health issues across different ages. Sidney Health Center's pelvic health program helps people of all ages, dealing with problems like incontinence, difficulty using the bathroom, pelvic organ issues, tailbone pain, lower back discomfort, hip pain, and painful intercourse.

PHPT is a specialized type of physical therapy that concentrates on evaluating and treating conditions linked to the pelvic floor. For pregnant women, this specialized therapy can help with issues such as pelvic pain, incontinence, preparing for labor and delivery, and recovering after giving birth.

Steinbeisser, who has been helping people with pelvic health concerns for the past two years in Billings, is now back in Sidney. She got special training in treating pelvic floor issues from the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, Seattle, WA. Lacey's dedication to pelvic health physical therapy comes from her desire to improve the quality of life for people dealing with treatable conditions.
