    Over the past 43 years I have served our community and now in a more limited way continue to do so by choosing to be vaccinated against COVID and by wearing a mask in public places. With only 40% of Richland County vaccinated, there is still a risk that I could become infected and pass this to my husband who has underlying health conditions.     On June 7th Troy Simonsen was ordained to the Priesthood of Jesus Christ by Most Rev. David D. Kagan Apostolic Administrator, Diocese of Fargo, Bishop of Bismarck at the Cathedral of St. Mary, Fargo N.D.     St. Matthew’s Fall Dinner (Sidney) was enjoyed by many area residents Sunday Oct. 21. Members from the parish baked pies, prepared the meal, kept the lines flowing smoothly and helped with clean up. Catholic Daughters Court Mother Cabrini #1766 served at the entry of the gym collecting monies and also selling raffle tickets for gift cards from local businesses. CDA will use raffle proceeds for Thanksgiving and Christmas grocery gifts for needy families....
