  • Sidney Tiger Sharks 2022 Eastern Divisional Champions

    Marie Holler|Aug 3, 2022

The Sidney Tiger Sharks are the 2022 Easterns Divisional Swim Champs. It was a great weekend in Plentywood with many Sharks swimming at their best times. The weather on Saturday was wild with hot 100° weather in the morning to a storm fierce enough to stop the meet after the 13-14 back strokers swam. We had to finish the meet running the 15-19 age group backstrokers and fly as final times on Sunday. This worked out well as many Sharks placed themselves in these events from their original...

A small handful of Tiger Sharks made it to the Malta swim meet July 9-10, we had a total of 9 1/3 since Madycen Sanders could only swim 1 event before leaving for other commitments. We were a small but mighty group bringing home two top point trophies. Crew Falcon won top points for 8 and under boys and Corben Holler took home top point trophy for 15-19 boys. If your child has the birth year of 2003-2010 they can still sign-up by going to the Sidney Soccer Website. • Sidney Tiger Sharks Results At Chinook

    Marie Holler|Aug 8, 2018

The Tiger Sharks took 4th at Chinook this weekend. It was a long Saturday with the meet not ending until 7 due to lightening delays. We brought 57 swimmers and 44 have made it to State either in their events or in a relay. The theme this year was "Donut swim with Sharks." The sharks pulled through as many cut large amounts of time to ensure that they would make it to Sunday. We will be competing next weekend in Conrad, MT. They break divisions up by points and our points put us in 5th out of 5 g...

  • Sidney Tiger Sharks Compete at State Meet In Lewistown

    Marie Holler|Aug 30, 2017

The Tiger Sharks took a total of 45 competitors to Lewistown to compete for State. Despite many of them swimming their best times not all of them made it to Sunday. As in all individual team sports you can only ask your athletes to give it their best, and personal bests at State are a great way to end the season. The overall team did not place as high as I wanted them to, but we are in a rebuilding year and are looking for more swimmers especially in the older boy age range. We hope to partner with other sports such as Cross Country, Football,...

    Marie Holler|Jul 12, 2017

It was a great racing weekend for the Tiger Sharks in Plentywood. We took a total of 52 swimmers to Plentywood and they swam very well. For some, it was the first race of the season and others have been going to each race focusing on shaving time. The team swam well cutting times on both Saturday and Sunday. All their hard work paid off and they earned first place overall and first place in relays. Morgan Kindopp and Gwyneth Arthur both brought home the high point trophy scoring the highest...

  • The Sidney Tiger Sharks Place 2nd at State Meet in Hamilton

    Marie Holler|Aug 10, 2016

There were over 560 swimmers competing for State championship records and we brought a total of 46 to compete. Saturday was hot, but the majority of our swimmers cut time off their best and placed themselves up from where they were seeded. This allowed for a rowdy, yelling Sunday as we were working to dominate in the water. Tiger Sharks who made it to Sunday all were swimming their hardest and cut even more time against some very tough competitors. By the middle of the day, we were only sitting in second place by a few points. The back...

  • Sidney Tiger Sharks Win Big at Divisionals in Malta

    Marie Holler|Jul 27, 2016

The Sidney Tiger Sharks competed in Malta this weekend for Divisionals. They had 55 swimmers after having to scratch some for injuries that had occurred prior to the meet. It was a rough start to the day on Saturday as many of the swimmers were adding time with the change in pool and nervousness of being at Divisionals. I asked them to dig deep and swim for the team, as we needed everyone’s points to be successful. The Sharks were working hard and by the middle of the meet they began doing what they do best, shaving time. Going into Sunday w...

The weekend of July 2nd and 3rd the Sidney Tiger Sharks took 30 athletes to Glasgow. Among the group of 30 were 2 athletes who had never competed before and 1 who finally made it across the 25 meters to gain a time. Most every shark cut time from their best time on Saturday and then again on Sunday! They are pushing their limits and digging deep when it come to competing. Overall the team took 5th in relays and 3rd at the meet. We had two high point winners Hadley Garsjo in the 13-14 age range and for the first time Morgan Kindopp in the 8 and...
