    Due to the weather last weekend, the Easter Egg Hunts that were scheduled for Sat. March 23 have been rescheduled. -The annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Sidney Elks Lodge will now take place at Quillings Park on March 30 starting at 11 am for all children under 12. -The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Center Easter Egg Hunt will also be held on March 30, with 4000 hidden eggs this year.     At least 625 wolves inhabited Montana at the end of 2012 according to state wildlife managers preparing the federally required annual wolf conservation and management report.   • First Montana Hantavirus Case Reported for 2013

    The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services has confirmed the first case of Hantavirus infection in a Montana resident in 2013. The individual is expected to make a full recovery. The resident of Deer Lodge County is believed to have come into contact with the virus while cleaning an area that had been contaminated by rodents. This case is one of 36 Hantavirus infection cases reported in Montana since 1993. The Sidney Tiger Sharks are the defending 2012 AA Swim Champions and have won the AA title 10 of the last 12 years.
