On Friday, March 8, the Trading Card program at Sidney High School donated $800 to the Sidney Special Olympics program. Presenting the check to Special Olympic athlete Skyler Schaff and coach Lacy Hutchens are Taylor Utgaard, Jesse Staffanson, Tresha Sanders, and Taylor Tighe. Special Olympics will be using the money to help pay for state Special Olympics that will take place May 15 – 18 in Billings. Their goal is to raise $5,000 to help compensate for state expenses. Special Olympics will also be selling spring and summer-flowering bulbs from the “Art in Nature” collection to help raise additional funds.
