The Richland County Farm Bureau Federation invites you to attend a presentation given by Rick Lubkeman of the Montana Health Co-op entitled “Health Care Changes and the Affordable Care Act”. This event is purely informational and will take place on June 19th at 6 p.m. in the Eastern Ag Research Center-Extension Office building on 1499 North Central Avenue in Sidney, Montana. The Montana Health Co-op was formed as a result of the Affordable Care Act, the federal healthcare law, and was started with a loan from the Department of Health and Human Services. They are set up as a cooperative and provide healthcare plans to comply with the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The presentation will include a thirty-minute description of changes to the United States healthcare system due to the ACA, compliance issues and requirements, and benefits. There will also be time for any questions participants may have. The event is hosted by the Richland County Farm Bureau Federation and is open to the public.
