Summer Fun at the MonDak

The MonDak Heritage Center is hosting a MonDak Sampler Class with two separate sessions in July. Children will have the opportunity to learn a variety of skills in watercolor, sculpture, drawing, mixed media and acrylic/tempera. Viewing exhibits, playing games and having fun are all on the agenda as well.

Summer Sampler Week 1 for 4th – 7th grade will run Noon – 4 pm, July 8-12

Summer Sampler Week 2 for K-3rd grade runs Noon – 4 pm, July 15-19.

Cost is $35 and includes art supplies and materials, snacks and a T-shirt. Lunch will not be provided.

Leann Pelvit, Fine Arts and Crafts Superintendent of the Richland County Fair, will assist the children in filling out entry forms so their work may be submitted.

Everyone is invited to view the young artists’ work at an open house on July 24 from 6-8 pm. For more information, or to register for class, please call 406-433-3500 or email jbaker@richland.org.
