Watford City Lions Club Annual Easter Egg Hunt – It's EGG-CITING

"EXTRA-EXTRA Read All About It"

Watford City Lions Club will be holding their annual Easter Egg Hunt!

WHEN: Saturday, April 19th at 1:00pm

WHERE: at the Good Shepherd Home, 709 4th Ave NE in Watford City

Lions Club members along with a few volunteers will be filling and hiding over 1500 plastic eggs at the Good Shepherd Home in Watford City.

To promote fairness, children will be divided in to two age groups: 0 – 5yrs and 6yrs – 10yrs of age.

There will be a face painting station set up for the kids and last but not least, no Easter egg hunt would be complete without a visit from the Easter Bunny. So, parents bring your cameras and be prepared to take pictures.

Lions Club Secretary Denise Grantier states, "It's a fun family event that we enjoy doing for the community. With the influx of people coming in to our area, we also see this as an opportunity to meet others in the community."

Jackie Beasley from the Good Shepherd Home expresses the excitement of the residents of the home, "Our residents enjoy watching the kids find their Easter eggs. If the weather is good, many of our residents watch from the courtyard. If the weather is bad, they gather in the Sunshine room and watch through the windows."

Gather the kids and join the Watford City Lions Club members for the Easter Egg Hunt eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 19th.
