PUSH-UPS for FLOATS: Thursday, October 30th 2-4 pm at the Rehabilitation Clinic

October is National Physical Therapy Month! The Sidney Health Center Rehabilitation Services is hosting their annual community invitation to hang out with the rehab team to ask questions, meet the staff and explore rehab clinic while enjoying root beer floats. This year there are new challenges for the department, hospital, and the community. Bring in food items to donate to the food bank and pick any rehab staff member to do 10 push-ups.

The Challenge is for the Rehab Team vs Hospital Staff vs Community- who can donate the highest number of nonperishable (non-expired) food articles. With colder temperatures moving in, many families are in need and the hospital would like to help out the local food bank with donations.

In addition, some extreme sports will occur including fun wii games, dynavision speed, and mind blowing brain challenges. Everyone who participates will be put into a drawing to win an ipod shuffle, a health basket or a free shirt donated by Run the World, Sidney's Run Club.

See you Thursday, October 30th 2-4 pm at the Rehabilitation Clinic southwest of the front entrance to the main hospital entrance.

FOOD BANK Recommendations & specific needs:

• Non-perishable, non-expired

• Canned: tuna, tomato varieties (14.5 oz), apple sauce (for babies), soups, beans-pinto, chili

• Oatmeal- box or instant for the kids

• Feminine hygiene products

• Roman noodles

• All other non-perishable food items greatly appreciated!
