Fort Buford and Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center to Host Public Programs

FORT BUFORD--The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center will be hosting several events in January. All of the events are free and open to the public.

January 16-17, 2015 Confluence Quilters, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Join the Confluence Quilters for their monthly meeting at the Confluence where they will be quilting the Disappearing Nine Patch. It is recommended that quilters bring two Charm packs or have their fabric pre-cut into 5 inch squares before coming for class on Saturday. All experience levels invited and instruction provided. January 18, 2015 Concert at the Confluence, 3 p.m. Enjoy a wonderful Concert at the Confluence featuring Jore’s Haus of Musik, while overlooking one of North Dakota’s most beautiful natural sights. Free refreshments. Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center, 701.572.9034.

The Missouri Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is located 22 miles southwest of Williston at Fort Buford. Hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday from 1-5 p.m., Closed Monday and Tuesday. Fort Buford is closed for the season and tours are by appointment only.
