Christian band Cloverton will be performing Friday, July 17th at the Watford City High School, 100 3rd St NE. Doors open at 6:15 pm and the concert will begin at 7:00 pm. A free will love offering will be taken and all proceeds from the event will benefit Johnson Corners Christian Academy, a private, non-denominational, Bible-based learning K-12 school.
Johnson Corners Christian Academy was established in 1982 and has been "Investing in students to change the world for Christ" ever since. The school relies on fundraising to cover any costs beyond what they receive in tuition and money raised during the concert will be pooled with next year's fundraising proceeds to purchase a new van for the school.
Manhattan-based band Cloverton is known for hits such as 'Takes Me into the Beautiful' and 'You Never Leave' and were launched into the Christian charts after winning the 2011 ROCK THE CAMP music contest hosted by Toby Mac and Camp Electric.
