Sidney Bridge Boat Ramp Temporary Closure

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks has upcoming plans to temporarily close the Sidney Bridge Fishing Access Site boat ramp located near Sidney.

Construction began Aug. 24 on replacing the lower portion of the concrete boat ramp. Fish, Wildlife, & Parks (FWP) will be taking advantage of current low water levels in the Yellowstone River to improve the ramp, which currently has a hazardous drop-off at the end of the ramp.

Construction on the project is scheduled to take place from Aug. 24-Sept. 4. FWP will restrict access to the Sidney Bridge boat ramp during construction but the Sidney Bridge Fishing Access Site will remain open to the public.

Please contact Jamie Hould, Region 7 Fishing Access Site Program Manager, at 406-234-0945 with any questions concerning this project.
