MEDA Fall Conference Will Include An Infrastructure Town Hall Meeting

The Montana Economic Developers Association will hold its annual Fall Conference in Billings on Tues. & Wed., Oct. 13-14, at the Northern Hotel. The conference will provide hands-on opportunities for economic developers and their partners to learn about and address important issues facing Montana as they work together to build real solutions to some of those key issues.

Beginning at 2 p.m. on Tues., Oct. 13, MEDA will also be hosting Montana’s Infrastructure Town Hall meeting: A Call To Action. The meeting will include a review of Montana’s infrastructure needs, a dialogue addressing these needs across multiple sectors, and an opportunity for participants to work together to lay the ground work for building a sustainable approach to address statewide infrastructure investment. The town hall meeting will end with a networking reception which begins at 5 p.m.

Additional conversations during the conference will focus on recent changes in Montana’s key economic development programs and on discovering methods for marketing economic development organizations and community economic development efforts. The MEDA conference will provide a great opportunity to network with business leaders and professionals and to hear from several major players in the economic development business world.
