High School Senior Starts His Own Business

Trey Bloesser, a recently graduated senior from Savage High School, is the ultimate example of Montana students. Bloesser has been able to earn over $20,000 in scholarships, has started his own successful business; while at the same time working on his family farm and enjoying hiking and fishing. What started as a joke, and later an assignment for Trey's Entrepreneurship class, he was able to start up his own business; Burns Creek Creations. With Burns Creek Creations, Trey produces art, furniture and custom pieces using horseshoes. Trey and his dad work in a personal shop and will soon have a room dedicated to his work at Picture Perfect Studios in Sidney, MT.

"People have been really awesome since opening, and this work has definitely taught me a lot about working with people," said Trey. "They understood that I was still in school and finishing up, and they would be really great and let me know to just get it done when I could. Not to mention, I've just been enjoying the work and the customer experience all together." Bloesser has worked hard his entire high school career; earning really good grades all four years, filling out many letters of recommendation for scholarships and scoring very high on his ACT. "I'm really grateful for my mom, she really helped me a lot through all of this. And our school has a really great guidance counselor. I just really wanted to go into college debt free and I'm happy to have reached that goal," said Trey.

Trey will go on to college in Bozeman, MT where he plans to major in Livestock Production and Management; while still working hard and enjoying the Montana landscape. Burns Creek Creations has their own Facebook page where you can look at Trey's designs and get in touch with him. Soon, he will have his very own studio located at Picture Picture Perfect Studios (owned by Jan Bloesser, Trey's mother), where he can showcase his art and products for sale and orders. Be sure to check them out!
