Walleye Tourney Will Benefit George Carpenter, Oct. 15th

Come down to the river, Saturday, Oct. 15th for the Yellowstone River Rats Jig-N-Crank Fest Walleye Tournament at the Richland Park Boat Ramp, north of Sidney on County Road 128, 2 miles east of MT State Highway 200.

There’s room for 25 two-person teams total, with eleven registered already. Registration is $100 per team, and on Friday, Oct. 14th there will be a Richland Park Social at 5:45, registration closes at 6:00pm, and one member from each team must attend the Rules Meeting at 6:15pm.

The Tournament will be held from 7:30am – 4:30pm, with fishing hours being from 8:00am – 4:00pm. There are no early weigh-ins and late teams will be disqualified. Placing is dependent on the total weight of five live walleyes and 50% of the two pots plus any donations will go to George Carpenter to aid with medical expenses.

There is 100% payout based on 25 teams: 1st $575, 2nd $400, 3rd $300, 4th $250, 5th $225, 6th $200, 7th $175, 8th $150, 9th $125, 10th $100.

A meal will be provided on Saturday, donated by the Double Barrel Saloon and primitive campsites will be available.
