Kolstad Eye Clinics Opens a Sidney Office in the West Side Professional Center

Dr. Jon Kolstad officially opened Kolstad Eye Clinics' Sidney office on Monday, Oct. 17 in what used to be Dr. Roger Anderson's eye clinic. There was plenty to do before opening, such as painting and installing new flooring, but bringing in new equipment was at the top of the priority list. The clinic is equipped with digital refraction screens, digital retinal photos, digital laser retinal scanning, and digital OTCs. Glaucoma, cataract, and macular degeneration services are available, as well as standard vision screenings, and most insurance is accepted including Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS Healthy Montana Kids, and VA insurance. Kolstad Eye Clinics offers competitive pricing on their contacts and glasses, with an excellent selection of frames and flexible pricing. In fact, from now until Thanksgiving, the clinic is having a half-off frame sale.

Dr. Kolstad was born and raised in Northeastern Montana, and has been serving the area since 1995. He has clinics in Wolf Point, Glasgow, Scobey, and now Sidney.

"I thought there was a need for another clinic in Sidney, and it's always good to have options," said Dr. Kolstad, adding, "Kids are great and are always welcome patients. I have four kids myself."

Dr. Kolstad spends his free time hunting, fishing, and coaching youth athletics in Glasgow, where he and his family reside.

Appointments are available within a week and walk-ins are welcome. Kolstad Eye Clinics' Sidney location is open Monday – Wednesday from 9:00am – 5:00pm, and will extend their hours and increase days as needed to provide quick and excellent service to their patients. To schedule an appointment, call 406-433-2705, or stop in at the West Side Professional Center at 1405 4th St SW Suite 2 in Sidney.

"I love what I do and I am excited to be in the community," he concluded.
