The annual Kiwanis Pie Social will be held Friday, July 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the courthouse lawn in Sidney. Burgers have replaced the hot dogs, and the tasty beans and mouthwatering pies are still on the menu. For just $10, receive either a burger or brat, chips, beans, pie with or without ice cream and your choice of water, coffee or soda. Individual items are also available and whole pies will be sold for $15 after noon.
All proceeds from the event go towards youth projects and scholarships, In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in the Masonic Temple.
