The MonDak Heritage Center Announces An Exhibition By The Williston Area Visual Artists Oct. 3 - Nov. 4

The MonDak Heritage Center announces the Williston Area Visual Artists (WAVA) Art Show, on display from Tuesday, October 3 through Saturday, November 4 at the MonDak Heritage Center, 120 3rd Ave SE, Sidney, MT. This year’s show features artwork from club challenges. Each artist received squares of a painting to complete, that when put together became “The Scream” by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch. For another challenge artists submitted pieces of their favorite era. WAVA support artists and the arts and provides a nurturing and supportive environment by which artists will feel inspired and encouraged and thereby further enhance the enthusiasm of the art community. The group meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the James Memorial Art Center in Williston and welcomes all levels of artists working in many different mediums. Members also often participate in open studio night at the James Memorial Art Center every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. to continue to hone their skills and network with other artists. For additional information about WAVA find them on Facebook. The MonDak Heritage Center is open Tuesday-Friday from 10-4 and Saturday from 1-4. Admission is FREE. For more information call (406) 433-3500 or e-mail [email protected].
