The Sidney Area Dollars for Scholars Board wants to extend a huge thank you to the community for their generous support shown during the 2017 phonathon. Last January, the high school students spent two nights calling the community for financial support for the scholarship fund for graduating seniors. We are proud to announce that we have collected $18725 which allowed us us to offer 26 scholarships to the class of 2017. This is a record amount collected.. We would like to thank the community of Sidney for their generous support. The vision the founders in 1992 had in forming this Chapter of Dollars for Scholars is now being realized and is benefiting Sidney High School graduates.
We have our 2018 phonathon on January 29th and 30th from 5:30-8 p.m. Mrs. Gerhardt and the SHS National Honor Society are organizing this event. We hope you will consider giving to DFS once again and will welcome calls from our high school students. Thank you again for your generous support of our current and future graduating seniors.
