Richland County Crimestoppers Crime of the Week

This week's Richland County Crimestopper is a theft of tools from a new construction work site located in northwest Richland County. The theft was reported to the Richland County Sheriff's Office on October 3, 2017 by a construction contractor that was building a new house in that area. Workers had left the site on October 2, 2017 at about 5PM and when they returned at about 7AM on October 3, they found many of their work tools missing from the job site. The following items were reported missing:

- Dewalt 12" Sliding miter saw with stand

- 2-Bostitich 18 gauge finish nail gun

- Bostitich 23 gauge pin nailer

- Bostitich 18 gauge finish stapler

- Dewalt 10" tile saw with stand

- Craco 490 paint sprayer with Makita air compressor

- 2' level

- 4' level

- 6' level

- Dewalt 20 volt cordless multi tool

Value of tools taken is over $3000.00 with many of the items marked with black or red Permanent marker with the name of the Construction company.

As with any investigation it is possible that a member of the public saw or heard something that may assist investigators with the investigation of this matter.
