The Mondak Heritage Center Announces The Art Along The Bighorn: A Child's Perspective Exhibit

The MonDak Heritage Center announces the Art along the Bighorn: A Child's Perspective exhibit, on display from April 3 to May 26 at the MonDak Heritage Center, 120 3rd Ave SE, Sidney, MT 59270. Children's art is often a pure look into ourselves as individuals and a society. The artwork in Art along the Bighorn reflects young artists' perspectives on life, culture, and creative expression along the Bighorn River, created during the 2015-2016 school year by fourth and fifth grade students from Crow Agency Elementary School and put together by the Yellowstone Art Museum. The exhibition is the result of an art education partnership between Yellowstone Art Museum and Hardin Public School District that has been in place since 2002. Sponsored by Rebecca & Kendal Kallevig. The MonDak Heritage Center is open Tuesday-Friday from 10-4 and Saturday from 1-4. Admission is FREE. For more information call (406) 433-3500 or e-mail [email protected] or visit mondakheritagecenter.org.
