Roundabout South Of Sidney Open To Single-Lane Traffic

The Montana Department of Transportation Monday opened the roundabout under construction south of Sidney to single-lane traffic in all directions. The roundabout is located at the intersection of MT-16, MT-200, and MT-23.

- Designed as a multi-lane roundabout, the Sidney Roundabout will function as a single-lane roundabout until construction is fully complete in July.

- The MT-23 and MT-16 detours are now closed, and traffic is expected to use the new roundabout.

- Motorists should anticipate reduced speeds approaching the roundabout and should watch for work crews and equipment crossing the center of the roundabout as landscaping work continues.
