Gina Waid, graduating senior at Virginia High School was awarded the second annual McConnell Scholarship for 2014 during the school's Awards Assembly on Friday, May16. Waid is the daughter of Christina Bingham and Jeff Waid. She plans to attend Indiana University-Purdue University-Indianapolis where she will study Forensic Science.
