Gifts From the Heart season has blown in just like winter did, very quickly! Our selected date this year is Saturday, Dec. 12. We will continue to provide this free "store" at the Masonic Temple, W. Main, Sidney, across from the courthouse. This is a one-day only event! In past years the "open" hours were from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Due to COVID-19, we are extending those hours this year. As we blow into the New Year of 2016, we have record numbers to announce for the Gifts From The Heart program! 2015 was the largest effort for Richland County providing 424 children with Christmas gifts, assisting 162 families. This includes 135 families receiving Food Baskets. Sometimes we do not realize that it takes a village from start to finish to round out Christmas in a little county.
