    The MonDak Heritage Center has received $10,000 through Humanities Montana’s Sustaining the Humanities Through the American Rescue Plan (SHARP) grant program. This rapid-response funding provides general operating support to the state’s museums, historic sites, and other humanities-focused nonprofits affected by the COVID-19 health crisis.     The MonDak Heritage Center is pleased to announce that an exhibition of artwork from Wheatland, WY artist Barbara Schaffer's permanent collection will be on display through Aug. 29. Born in the colorful gold mining town of Cripple Creek, CO, Barbara moved as a child to Wyoming. She knew from the time she was small that she would be an artist.     The MonDak Historical & Arts Society has received $5,000 through Humanities Montana’s CARES grant program. This rapid-response funding provides general operating support to cultural organizations in the state that have been affected by the COVID-19 health crisis.
