    On Aug. 19, 2022, Mid-Rivers Communications released a payment of capital credits to the Cooperative’s members and patrons, with a capital credit retirement totaling approximately $1,074,000. The 2022 retirement is comprised of the remaining balance of the 1995 allocation and a portion of the 2021 patronage allocation.     The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted an Order designating 988 as the new three-digit abbreviated dialing code to reach the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline starting July 16, 2022. The FCC’s Order requires all telecommunications carriers to make any network changes necessary to ensure that users can dial 988 to reach the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline by July 16, 2022.     The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted 988 as a new three-digit number to be used nationwide to reach the National Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Crisis Lifeline, starting July 16, 2022. Until then, customers must continue to dial 1-800-273-TALK to reach the Lifeline.
