  • Dummy Team Roping Event January 16

    The Dummy Team Roping has been an annual, family event since 2010. Funds raised at this event will go directly towards the cost of putting on the Neal Hermanson Memorial Ranch Rodeo to be held on June 11. The rodeo, in turn, raises money for the Empty Saddle Foundation where funds are distributed primarily in scholarships to local graduates.     The NDSU Extension Service in McKenzie County will host a workshop Jan. 15, 2016, for cow-calf producers, particularly those who are new to beef cattle production.     The Montana Department of Revenue is mailing out 2016 personal property reporting forms to business owners this week. Business and industrial taxpayers have until March 1, 2016, to report their business equipment or personal property to the department.
