  • Watford City To Hold State Hockey Tournaments This Week

    This year, for the first time, both the boys’ and girls’ NDAHA State Hockey Tournaments will be held in Watford City the same year. The tournaments start March 2 at noon and go through March 5 at the Rough Rider Center. Watford City has been the host of NDAHA hockey tournaments before, but always just for the boys or the girls. The NDAHA state planning committees and clubs plan which town will host the tournaments at the beginning of the year.     To celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Cancer Care Expansion, the Sidney Health Center Cancer Center had a few cancer patients, survivors, physicians, staff, and people from the community including SHC and Foundation board members come and sign their names on beams that were painted with the color "Brave Purple" recognizing all cancers that are treated within the walls of our Cancer Center, on Wednesday, Feb. 22.
