    Alexander resident Donna Sims has opened The Wild Flour Café & Bakery in the former Country Café location at 718 Elk Street, Alexander. Sims is the former owner of Old School Meat Processing that was in operation from 2007-2012 in Alexander. Sims' daughters Alex and Emmalee also help at the restaurant.   • Richland County Purchases National Guard Armory

    Richland County completed the purchase of the Montana National Guard Armory Monday morning, with a price tag of $600,000. The National Guard vacated the armory building in the beginning of 2016 when they transferred to Culbertson. The Department of Military Affairs then approached the county about purchasing the building, which the county had originally sold to the state in 1955.
