The Montana Department of Revenue is offering expanded hours at its call center to assist taxpayers during the days before the April 18 deadline for filing income tax returns. On February 17th George Thorgramson had a biopsy on his throat. On the morning of February 19th the doctor called with the diagnosis of stage 3 throat cancer. George started chemo and radiation on March 16th. George has about 6 to 8 weeks of chemo and radiation. He will undergo radiation 5 days a week and chemo 1 day a week both taking place in Williston, ND. The MonDak Heritage Center recently received a gift of 30 handmade art smocks from Sidney student Shelby Reidle. Reidle made each of the smocks as part of her Girl Scout Gold Award Project. Approximately 25 hours went into the creation of the smocks, which will be used in the wide variety of art classes that Education Coordinator Jessica Newman teaches each month.
