Parents are just starting or just completing the ‘driver’s license’ process for their children, because there is no snow or ice to drive on and they feel it is a safer time to learn. Teens with driver’s licenses are taking their younger siblings to summer activities, swimming, ball games and play dates. Teens are spending more time driving around with friends going to and from summer fun. Parents a...

  • MSU Extension: Consider Testing Garden Soil Before Fertilizing

    May 13, 2015

BOZEMAN – Knowing about garden soil helps gardeners grow healthy plants, protect ground and surface water, as well as efficiently use resources like nutrients, water and money. He said he wasn't feeling well, thinking he had drunk too much coffee. He drank a glass of water, sat down in the living room, and suffered a massive ischemic stroke. Fortunately, Linda recognized the signs immediately. She had witnessed...

  • A Fascinating Part Of Yesteryear

    Lois Stephens|May 13, 2015

I love looking at the old barns and outhouses that I see scattered around the country. On the surface it appears that these nostalgic structures have nothing in common, but on reflection, both of these icons of yesteryear represent an earlier life, a time before we thought we had to own a three bedroom two bath house or larger in order to count ourselves a success; a time when people knew how to entertain themselves without the use of computers and smart phones; a time when youngsters could...

    Lois Stephens|May 13, 2015
    1

At the same time it rewards bad behavior as it allows for the payment of benefits to those who have NOT w...
