    The recent hail storm in central Montana is a good reminder of the changes to the Montana State Hail Insurance Program. Purchasing a policy, premium rates, and the coverage available to Montana producers has changed this year. Producers will be contacting the State Hail Insurance Program office by mail, fax or phone to purchase a hail insurance policy.     Richland County has been approved to implement the Emergency Conservation Program (ECP) due to floods. Producers need to file an ECP application with the FSA before starting work on land damaged by flood water. Emergency Conservation Program is a cost share program which assists producers with damage caused by excessive rain and the floods that have occurred.
