    First graders from Savage Public School proudly present $251.60 that they raised to help Kyler Streib’s family with medical expenses. Kyler is now in his second battle against childhood leukemia and undergoing chemo at the Seattle Children’s Hospital. The first graders earned this money by taking AR tests, passing Math Fact levels, and getting 100s on spelling tests among many other things.   • Flag Etiquette And Information Regarding The Flags Of Honor Parade

    It has been observed that several flags are being flown that are tattered and in need of replacement. Such flags can be taken to the VFW and they, in turn, will have them properly disposed of by the Boy Scouts. The Flags of Honor program consists of 618 donated casket flags. The majority of the flags are from veterans in this area, and others are from family members who donated them to be with fellow veterans.     Dr. George Scordalakes, Sidney Health Center Pediatrician, and his staff were recently recognized for their efforts to ensure Montana’s children are immunized by two years of age. The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services Immunization Program presented the AFIX Certificate of Achievement – Healthy People 2012 to Dr. Scordalakes at the Immunization Regional Workshop this spring.
