  • Cheer/Drill Team Camp Set For Aug. 8

    The first Sidney youth Cheer/Drill Team Camp will take place Aug. 8 at the Central School gym. The camp will be for students in grades 2-8. Campers will be split into two groups, grades 2-4 and grades 5-8. The camp will take place in two sessions, a morning session from 9 a.m.- noon and an afternoon session from 1-3 p.m. The cost to attend will be $25 and includes a camp T-shirt and bottled water.     As part of our Ribfest activities, the Watford City Area Chamber of Commerce has added a “Ping Pong Ball Drop. The chamber has purchased 200 ping pong balls which they are offering to chamber retailers. You may write your name on up to 10 ping pong balls.     The Watford City Walleye Legion baseball team claimed first place in the Section 6 Tournament in Garrison.   • Sidney Health Center Hospice To Host Camp Mend-A-Heart

    Kids Camp Mend-A-Heart is a bereavement program for kids, ages 5-18 years old. This year, camp will be held at a new location, the Event Center at the Richland County Fairgrounds on Friday, Aug. 12 from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. The camp is sponsored by the Sidney Health Center Hospice and is free of charge.
