    Williston is set to receive federal and state funding for its schools, airport, police department and much more. The grants were made available via the U.S Department of Transportation and the Board of University and School Lands.     On Wednesday July 29th and Thursday July 30th Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) volunteers went door to door throughout randomly selected areas of Richland County conducting the Richland Community Health Assessment, which is a survey done every three years to determine the public health needs of the community.     The Boys & Girls Club of Richland County has partnered with IGA to help with the Backpack Program for the 2015-16 school year. We will be sending home sacks of easily-prepared food items on the last day of each school week to provide nourishment over the weekend for kids who may be depending upon the school lunch program for meals.
