    The NDRA Championship Finals Rodeo will take place at the McKenzie County fairgrounds located in Watford City on Friday, Sept. 23 and Saturday, Sept. 24. The rodeo will start at 7 p.m. CT on Friday and 6 p.m. CT on Saturday. The event will have concessions and beer gardens, lots of vendors, and Junior Wild Pony Race (with buckle & prize money awarded to the champion).     The Richland County Health Department’s annual Mass Flu Shot Clinic continues as a drive-thru format, scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Richland County Fire Hall in Sidney. The Drive-Thru Clinic will serve adults only, and offers both regular and high-dose flu shots. No other shots will be given during the clinic. No appointment is needed.     On Sept. 17 at approximately 11 p.m., the Watford City Police Department responded to multiple 911 calls of gunfire at the Inn at Hunters Run Hotel, 3617 6th Ave. NE, Watford City. Officers arrived on scene and located a single individual with two gunshot wounds to the leg. At the time law enforcement arrived on the scene, the suspect had fled the area.     On Sept. 17 at approximately 7:23 p.m. CST a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 17-year-old, male, Watford City, was traveling north on 137th Ave. NW (County Road 35). The Chevrolet lost control, entered the east ditch, and rolled then came to rest in an adjacent field. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.
