    For the first time ever, Sidney Law Enforcement, along with other interested individuals and businesses, will participate in the Polar Plunge, a national fundraising event that supports the Special Olympics. The Polar Plunge involves a dip into icy water in the great outdoors.     The Yellowstone Chapter of ABATE (American Bikers Aiming Towards Education) looks forward to participating in the 18th annual toy drive. This community project collects new toys or cash donations to buy new toys for those who face financial hardships this holiday season. ABATE, along with the Christmas Coalition and Gifts from the Heart, last year gathered over $3000 worth of toys for distribution among 141 families with a total of 358 children.
