    The Fairview and Savage track squads enjoyed strong performance at the Baker Invitational held on Saturday. Fairview placed third in the boys' team standings with 52 points and placed seventh in the girls' standings with 30 points. Savage's girls earned third with 65 points and scored nine points in the boys' division. Fairview's Jeffery Tjelde finished first in the 400 with a time of 52.77 seconds.     Sidney’s softball team dropped an exciting 14-12 non-conference game against Glasgow on Tuesday. After Glasgow gained a 10-4 lead at the end of four innings, Sidney struck back with five runs in the bottom of the fifth.     On April 8, the Sidney Eagle baseball team traveled to Stanley, ND, to defeat the Blue Jays 17 to 2, and the Ray Jays 15-4. The first game was against the Ray Jays.
