Stitching Through Time

Attend this year’s Roosevelt County Fair Fashion Revue on Wednesday, Aug. 10 at the Old Armory, Culbertson.

“This year should be really exciting,” Ardis Oelkers, MSU Extension agent and fashion revue coordinator, said.

Enjoy delicious refreshments at 6:30 p.m. with the program getting underway at 7 p.m.

Enjoy a stitch in time with clothing from past fashion revues. Clothing as early at 1968 will take the runway. Look back into the past, and see what was flattering in the ‘60s or even in the ‘70s. The ‘80s and ‘90s brought more traditional fashions while the 2000s brought bright colors and fun new looks. All of these fashions are great for reminiscing the past.

Taking center stage for a performance that is sure to please are the musical sounds of Anna Ragozza, Verbainia, Italy. Traveling across the United States to attend the fashion revue, Ms. Ragozza will sing in Italian and English. Enjoy the beautiful Italian language intermingled with our own.

The highlight of the evening is the young sewers in our county. These young ladies have sewed their own garments and will showcase their clothing at the fashion revue. Each outfit is a creation of the person’s own style and personality. Come and see what is hot for the season!

The Roosevelt County Fair Fashion Revue is free and open to the public. Register for door prizes and enjoy a great night of light entertainment. This is one fair event you won’t want to miss!
