WinterBlast All-nighter Breaking Barriers To End 2011

Sidney Assembly of God’s Hangar Youth Ministry is set to host their annual WinterBlast All-nighter on Dec. 30. The night is full of activity and is open to all 6th-12th graders at a cost of $20. Students do need a permission form signed by their guardian for the event.

Through the years the event has grown to over 300 students. Each year a different guest is featured from a concert with the Tim Bach Band to a motorcycle stunt man in Brad Bennett. This year will feature the Strength Team. The Mullet Men will open up with a mini concert. Then the Strength Team will be taking center stage as they show us how to break barriers in our lives with their feats of strength. Visit http://www.strengthteam.com for more information.

As usual the night will involve ice skating, bowling, basketball tournament, volleyball tournament and video games. Pizza will be served along with some early morning nachos. A half court shot contest will happen somewhere in the wee hours of the morning for an unspecified amount of cash.

Sidney Assembly’s associate pastor, Greg Ledgerwood, said: “What a fun night! Students connect with friends from across eastern Montana in a safe environment that builds students lives.” Youth groups from various churches across eastern Montana will be present that night. Ledgerwood says: “Come one, come all!” For more information call 433-2550.
