Teacher's Death Announced

The following was posted on the Sidney Public Schools' website on Jan. 13:

"The school district was notified around 9:30 AM today of Sherry Arnold's death following notification of the family. In response to this news, the District will be in session until 2:00 PM. All route busses will operate at 2:00 PM. Additional counselors are on hand this morning in all buildings and parents, if needed, may check their students out from each building.

Friday games are cancelled.

Sidney Law Enforcment and the FBI will provide a more complete announcement later today. Posted at 10:25 AM, Friday, January 13, 2012."

Sherry Arnold has been missing since early Saturday, January 7, 2012. She was last seen running on East Holly Street in Sidney, Montana; wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, red tear-away pants with blue stripes, black mittens & a headband, at approximately 6:40 a.m.

Sherry is 5’10”, weighs 140 lbs., has short brown hair, brown eyes and has an athletic build.
