Farm Credit Services Holds Annual Stockholders Meeting

Stockholders of Farm Credit Services of North Dakota, ACA elected one director at their annual meeting which was held at the Holiday Inn in Minot on Tuesday, March 27. Tim Dwyer, Sidney, was newly elected to a four-year term. Stockholders also re-elected Diane Scheflo, Bottineau; Barry Scheresky, Des Lacs; Dean Schoenberg, Mohall; Greg Simonson, Minot; and newly elected Lana Anderson, Sherwood, for one-year terms on the nominating committee.

"2011 was a solid year for us and we expect our Pat-NOW philosophy will continue to keep us financially strong for stockholders in 2012," says Claude Sem, CEO. "Pat-NOW gives our members the low rate advantage, and it is our goal to maintain that well into the future," added Sem.

Over 300 attendees were at the annual stockholders business meeting and dinner which concluded with a humorous presentation by C. Willi Myles, comedian.

Farm Credit Services is a member-owned agricultural credit association providing loans to farmers and ranchers for real estate, machinery, livestock, and operating needs. FCS also offers life & disability and crop insurances to the rural community. They serve 17 counties in northwest North Dakota through eight branch offices located in Minot, Carrington, Bottineau, Rugby and Williston, including Bowbells Crop Insurance (Bowbells), Schaan Crop Insurance (Rugby) and Ward County Crop Insurance (Minot).
