The Lambert JH Academic Olympic team competed in Glasgow on Wednesday, April 18. They took 1st place in the written division and 1st place in the oral rounds, too, for Class III. Ira Lake is their advisor.
Notable achievements for the team included Hazen: 7th in English, 2nd in Social Studies, 4th in Math; John: 1st in Social Studies (for the 2nd year in a row), 6th in Science; Rachel: 7th in English, 6th in Social Studies, 9th in Science; Kelvin: 9th in Social Studies; Colin: 9th in Social Studies, 5th in Science, and earned the “Top 7th Grader” for total points on all tests.
